What Indigenous Cultures Can Teach Us?
In this project, students set out to design and build a warm, dry, and sustainable winter shelter in our school forest. Drawing on research from Indigenous practices, modern building methods, scientific principles, and their own creativity, they created huts large enough for their groups to sleep in for two nights. The work centered on the Design Process — investigating, planning, creating, and evaluating — while students deepened their understanding of energy, the laws of thermodynamics, and statistical and visual analysis.
