What Does Love Feel Like?
In this project, students explored love as one of the most powerful forces shaping human behavior and well-being. They examined how love influences happiness, life satisfaction, physical and mental health, meaning and purpose, and the strength of our social connections. While love is a universal experience, it manifests in diverse ways across individuals and cultures.
Focusing on the experiences of adolescents, students considered research showing how romantic relationships—and the absence of them—can affect teenagers’ sense of belonging and identity. They also analyzed scientific, cultural, and artistic perspectives on love, questioning whether it is best understood as a biological process, a social construct, or a source of human creativity.
Through reflection, discussion, and creative expression, students sought to answer a timeless question at the heart of the human experience: What does love feel like?
